Aquatics with this tail type form a tail that resembles a stingray with a long, whip-like tail that forms two pairs of fins, a large and smaller set along its length.
Stingray Tail (Mutation)
Aquatics with this tail type form a tail that resembles a stingray with a long, whip-like tail that forms two pairs of fins, a large and smaller set along its length.
Layered Tail (Mutation)
This tail type can either match the example shown or be any number of stylized and layered fins. These fins can be both at the end of the tail or along the entire length of it, how they are applied is entirely up to the creative choices of the artist designing the mhoat. This tail type tends to be more elegant and showy, tails mimicking various types of flowers being fairly common.
Octo Tail (Mutation)
This tail type allows the mhoat to have a set of up to 8 tentacles that resemble an octopus' legs. Unlike other tails, you may only combine this trait with the multiple tails trait once for a total of 12 tails allowed on a design.
Lobster Tail (Mutation)
Aquatics with this trait have a thick, sturdy tail covered in thick plating and ends in a thick, fanned tail.
Bow Tail (Winter Mythic)
Mhoats with this tail trait form a ribbon-like tail that can be tied into various styles of bows.
Knotted Lights Tail (Winter Mythic)
Similar to a knotted tail, this trait allows for a prehensile tail that mimics a string of lights. The lights on the tail may break the rules for total goo colors present.
Octo Tail (Fall Mythic)
This tail type allows the mhoat to have a set of up to 8 tentacles that resemble an octopus' legs. Unlike other tails, you may only combine this trait with the multiple tails trait once for a total of 12 tails allowed on a design.
Alternate Types Show
Waterfall Tail (Summer Mythic)
This tail behaves like water and has small white patches that mimic sea foam, the tail disappears while in water.
Serpent Tail (Summer Mythic)
Serpent tail is a strange trait in that the tail behaves like a living snake but is entirely made from the mhoat's own goo. This tail may take the form of any type of snake, from viper, garden snake, and even cobras.
Fish Tail (Standard)
Aquatics with this tail type form a variety of fish-like tails.
Corvanus Tail (Mythic)
Mhoats with this tail type form an additional pair of wings in place of the tail. These wings can mimic any standard or mutation rarity wing found in the Mhoat Wings category.
Mushroom Cap Tail (Mutation)
This tail type is retractable, meaning the mhoat can pull it into the body and leave just the mushroom cap showing when it wants to have a little bobtail. The tip of this tail tends to have plating on it, which follows the body colors but this is not mandatory detail.
Cherubim Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait have a long whip-like tail with numerous sets of small wings along its length. Longer tails tend to have more wings present and these wings can resemble any standard rarity wing seen under the Mhoat Wings category, while higher rarities will be dependent upon those wings being present on the design or being combined with other tail traits.
Mermaid Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait form fish-like tails with a variety of fin shapes.
Skeletal Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait form a tail that has a skeletal appearance.
Knotted Tail (Mutation)
This long, prehensile tail type can be controlled by the mhoat that has it, those with skill being able to form them into little knots and intricate woven designs when not kept loose.
Dragon Vine Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait form a long slender tail with little leaf-like spikes that mimic a vine.
Fan Tail (Mutation)
This long slender tail forms a wide fan of shaped extensions at the tip that often resemble a fan and can be spread or narrowed down which the mhoat can control.
Blooming Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this tail type have a tail that splits into multiple sections, resembling various types of flowers. Any type of flower can be mimicked by this tail, though often simplified compared to the actual flowers.
