Lantern Tail

Lantern Tail (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Tails
Species: Mhoats

Mhoats with this trait form a long, prehensile tail that has a lantern-like section made of goo at the tip. The lantern can have a variety of appearances and has a concentrated level of bioluminescence, which means it gives off noticeable light even during the day.

Beach Ball Tail

Beach Ball Tail (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Tails
Species: Mhoats

This unique tail trait causes a mhoat to form a large ball-like tail that appears to be hollow on the inside with the tail itself having a springy quality. When damaged or strongly impacted this tail will deflate and drape over the back and hang down until the air within reforms over time.

Manta Wings

Manta Wings (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Wings
Species: Mhoats (Land subtype)

These wings resemble the fins of various types of rays, such as manta rays or stingrays. These wings always have some sort of goo present along the underside and these patches of goo usually resemble vents or gills. Additionally, some manta wings will display a thinner membrane along the lower edge of the fin, but this detail isn't always present. These wings aren't capable of any type of flight, but they do help land mhoats swim better underwater.

Alternate Types
  • Manta Fins (Mutation)
    Species: Mhoats (Aquatic subtype)

These fins resemble the fins of various types of rays, such as manta rays or stingrays, and replace the goo fins that are standard in aquatics. This means they are unable to transform these fins in the same manner as their fellow aquatics and land mhoat cousins. These fins always have some sort of goo present along the underside, usually in the form of vents that can tend towards functional or decorative. Additionally, some manta fins will display a thinner membrane along the lower edge of the fin, but this detail isn't always present.

Turtle Shell Wings

Turtle Shell Wings (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Wings
Species: Mhoats (Land subtype)

This trait gives a mhoat a tough shell on the back that can sprout and withdraw a pair of feathered wings; these wings can be either soft and feathered wings formed from the mhoat's plating or made of a mhoat's own goo. When it comes to flight, these wings only allow a mhoat to glide short distances when taking off from higher elevations rather than full flight.

Sylph Fins

Sylph Fins (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Fins
Species: Mhoats (Aquatic subtype)

Aquatics with this trait form a variety of wings in place of their fins ranging from feathered, webbed, to even insect-like wings. This change to their anatomy means these aquatics are able to take to the sky and tend to spend much of their time on land as a result.

Stone Goo

Stone Goo (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Aethic Tones
Species: Mhoats

Stone goo creates cement-like silk that is sturdier than standard silk, but in turn, mhoats with this goo have less flexibility in transforming their goo. This goo type allows a design to have Grayscale Goo present without requiring the mythic trait and the green moss present on stone goo does not abide by color limitations as it isn't part of the goo itself.

Sand Goo

Sand Goo (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Aethic Tones
Species: Mhoats

Mhoats with this trait tend to have goo with a sandy texture and appearance with pieces of "sand" (silk) constantly shedding from their body. Because their goo lacks some stability, they are unable to make sheets of silk but can make an extra adhesive film whenever their goo comes into contact with water, at which point it darkens in appearance and sand will begin to drop in clumps that can be harvested and used as a spreadable glue. The seashells buried in their goo or stuck to the surface are not required to follow a mhoat's normal goo color limitations since they are not part of the goo itself but instead treated as accessories.

Floating Objects - Space

Floating Objects - Space (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Body
Species: Mhoats

This trait allows for small space-themed objects to float around the mhoat's body. This trait can be turned on and off as the mhoat wishes and tends to be a little gathering of space objects but can be only singular items.

Floating Lights (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Body
Species: Mhoats

Nudibranch Body

Nudibranch Body (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Body
Species: Mhoats (Aquatic subtype)

Aquatics with this trait have front fins covered in plating which reduced the ability of these mhoats to transform their fins. Alongside this, their neck, belly, and bottom of their tail all lack plating, which means that these aquatics are usually confined to shallow waters since they lack some of the protection from the high pressures in deep waters that most aquatics have. Additionally, vents are optional when this trait is applied, No Vents being a free trait when paired with this one.

Webbing

Webbing (Summer)

Category: Mhoat Body
Species: Mhoats (Land subtype)

Mhoat with this trait form a variety of webbing on their body that resembles fins or even large flaps along the side of the body even connecting to the tail.

Reptile Tail

Reptile Tail (Summer)

Category: Vabbit Tails
Species: Vabbits

Vabbits with this trait form long, prehensile tails that can have a collection of small spines that form along the tail. When attacked or surprised a vabbit with this trait can choose to drop its tail, but it will grow back over time with the new tail being flesh-colored until fur covers it.

Glow in the Dark Plates

Glow in the Dark Plates (Summer)

Category: Vabbit Plates
Species: Vabbits

Vabbits with this trait have plating that gives off a faint light when it's dark, this glowing effect can either cover the entire plates or only small sections.

*A vabbit with shaped sections like the one shown for this trait will also need the Complex Plates trait as this trait only allows for the bioluminescent effect.
