A

  • Adopt: A character created by an official artist, admin, or guest artist that can be bought.
  • Aquatic: A mhoat form that lives under water. They have no hind legs and have traits geared more towards swimming.
  • Aquatic egg: An item used to make an aquatic mhoat.
  • Artisan form: Mhoats are able to change between a feral form and an anthropomorphic form. Their artisan form is an anthro version of themself. Standing on two legs and their front limbs being more hand-like, though they can change their goo limbs to being whatever they want or need at the moment.

B

  • Baby form: The young form of characters. They do not have all their traits listed as they can change as they grow up.

C

  • Caps: The normal currency for the realm of Mynros site. All art submitted to the on site galleries receives caps by default.
  • Cap booster: An item that gives you 3 times the normal amount of caps on one single art piece.
  • Celestials: Beings, living or dead, that had a huge impact on the world and have become those of legend.
  • Cosmic candy: An item that allows you to give characters a mythic trait.
  • CS (closed species): A unique species that have limits on who can make them. They can only be acquired through myo items, events, buying adopts, customs, or trading for a current design.
  • Custom: A design someone commissions to be created by an official artist or admin where the commissioner determines the theme, color, and traits used.

F

  • False sprouts (sprouts): A currency given for completing spring seasonal activities.
  • Feral form: Mhoats are able to change between a feral form and an anthropomorphic form. Their feral form has them on all fours, appearing more animal-like in proportions and stature.
  • Frosty berries (berries): A currency given for completing winter seasonal activities.
  • Fruitdrop jelly: An item used to get a spring trait on a new or existing design.
  • Fungheist flowers (flowers): A currency given for completing fall seasonal activities.
  • Fungus: A variety of magic absorbing mushrooms, mold, lichen, ect. that grow across the world. Mynrosians actively inhibit their growth to help protect the turtonics they call home.

G

  • GA (guest artist): Someone who has been invited to make characters for adopts when they aren’t an official artist or admin to the group.
  • Ghouls delight: An item used to get a fall trait on a new or existing design.
  • Golden dice (dice): A currency given for completing the timeless explorers activity.

K

  • Kelpie: An aquatic mhoat that has gained the ability to have a land form and stay on land for a short amount of time.
  • Kelpie mantle: An item used to turn an aquatic mhoat into a kelpie mhoat.
  • Kelp-wreathed egg: A myo item to be able to make a kelpie mhoat.

L

  • Land mhoat: A mhoat that lives on land. They can be feral or anthro and can swim in water but can’t stay under the water for very long as they need to breathe air.

M

  • Magic: A natural occurring energy all around Mynros. The creatures of Mynros can control the elements, having an affinity for one element. Depending on what element depends on what all kinds of spells can be used.
  • Minty cake: An item used to get a winter trait on a new or existing design.
  • Mhoat: One of the creatures that live in the Realm of Mynros. They are goat-like in stature. Most of their body is covered in a protective silk shell the uncovered portions are goo that forms a mhoats body.
  • Mhoat egg: A myo item to make a land mhoat.
    • Sparkling mhoat eggs: A myo item sold at a discount for a land mhoat, only one available per person.
  • Mutation stone: An item used to get mutation trait on a new or existing design.
  • Mynros: A combination of words from the old language of the world. Myn meaning created and Ros meaning land. This name was given to the world by the turtonics and is one of the few words understood by everyone.
  • Mynrosian: All sentient creatures that live in the realm of Mynros.
  • MYO (make your own): When you have been given the ability, through an event or by having a myo item, to create your own character that’s part of a closed species.

N

  • NPC (non playable character): A list of characters owned by the moderation team that are mostly used for story purposes/stores for the website.

O

  • OA (official artist): Someone hired by the admins who are allowed to make adopts, take custom orders, and help with other art events for the species.
  • Oracle key: An item acquired by completing an oracle quest. This item is needed to get into the oracle shop, where you can buy certain items not found elsewhere.

P

  • Parasite: A variety of creatures that, unlike Mynrosians and pets, actively seek out to harm the turtonics that they call home as well as its inhabitants.
  • Pearlescent sporepuffs (puffs): A currency given for completing oracle prompts.
  • Pet: Creatures that can be seen in the wild but can also be seen as pets to the sentient creatures of Mynros.
  • Pippom: A fruit bearing plant that blooms in great number during a short period of time the fall across the Realm of Mynros.
  • Precursors: beings that came before the creatures of Mynros.

R

  • Raffle: A character, pet, or item that is being given for free but has a random chance who will win them.
  • Rarities: A rating system to determine how easy a trait is to get for a character.

S

  • Saltie shells (shells): A currency given for completing summer seasonal activities.
  • Scale-infused egg: A myo item used to make a siren mhoat.
  • Seafoam cloak: An item used to turn a land mhoat into a siren mhoat.
  • Siren: A land mhoat that has gained the ability to have an aquatic form, though keeping their front legs, and can now stay underwater for a short amount of time.

T

  • Temples: Locations of worship dedicated to different celestials and what they represent where Mynrosians go to give offerings to receive boons.
  • Tidal sundae: An item used to get a summer trait on a new or existing design.
  • Traits: A list of what is allowed for parts of the characters and what their rarities are. Trait categories are things like face shape, eyes, ears, tails, etc.
    • Standard trait: Traits that don’t need to be bought using any items, are free to use in the design.
    • Mutation trait: Traits that are bought using the mutation stones.
    • Spring trait: Traits that are bought using fruitdrop jellies.
    • Summer trait: Traits that are bought using tidal sundaes.
    • Fall trait: Traits that are bought using ghouls delight.
    • Winter trait: Traits that are bought using minty cakes.
    • Potion trait: Extremely rare traits bought using a potion from the oracle.
    • Timeless ability trait: Rare traits bought using d4 gummies.
    • Timeless class trait: Rare traits bought using d6 gummies.
    • Timeless item trait: Rare traits bought using d8 gummies.
    • Mythic trait: Extremely rare traits bought using cosmic candies.
  • Trinkets: Special items given for completing special art prompts, events, and activities. These are more of a collectors item.
  • Turtonic: The large turtle like island creatures that the beings of the realm of Mynros live on.

U

  • UFT (up for trade): The person posting is looking to trade the character listed for another character, art, or items.
  • UFO (up for offer): The person posting is looking for offers on the character they have listed. This could be a combination of art, items, characters, or money.
  • UFS (up for swap/sale): Depending on which of these the person posting means they are either looking to swap their character for another character or they are looking to sell their character for money.

V

  • Vabbit: One of the creatures that live underground in the Realm of Mynros. They resemble rabbits and have plates on their face and front limbs.
  • Vabbit egg: A myo item needed to create a vabbit.
    • Toasty vabbit egg: A myo item sold at a discount for a vabbit, only one per person.
  • Voided: This character is no longer valid or available to be drawn. Can only be un-voided by the original owner or new owner.
