Foo Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this tail type form very long, extremely fluffy tails and they can be longer than is standard for most other tail types.
Feathered Tail (Mutation)
This tail is formed of feathers similar to a bird, this tail has a lot of room for variation and isn't limited to the example shown.
Paintbrush Tail (Mutation)
The plating at the tip of this tail is thin which lets liquid silk leaks out to saturate the tip of the tail, making it functionally similar to a paintbrush. The silk from this mhoat's tail when applied to inorganic objects is a longlasting type of paint, but when applied to a mhoat's plates will fade away over a short period of time unless the mhoat being painted on has the Chameleo trait.
Multi Tails (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait can have anywhere from 2 to 5 tails. This trait may be stacked to allow more than 5 tails, but each instance of the trait will require a mutation stone to be applied.

This type of tail is similar to that of a lion. Very thin, has a fluffy tuft at the end.
Beetle Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait form an insect-like tail with movable platings on top that can either cover the tail or lift up similar to the shell covering a beetle's body.
Lung Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait have a long, thick tail that ends in an extremely fluffy tail tip. It's common for these tails to have a line of fur along the top of the tail, but this is not required.
Buzzy Tail (Mutation)
This strange tail type forms two pairs of wing-like appendages, the top layer plating and the bottom layer goo. Mhoats can control the movement of these tails, the fast movement of these tails making a noisy buzzing sounds similar to various insects.
Scorpion Tail (Mutation)
This long tail type lacks clear segmenting, but is plated on the top and ends in a point similar to those seen on scorpions.
Bubble Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait for a tail that is a series of segmented orbs which resembles a cartoony scorpion tail.
Shaped Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this tail type form in a variety of unique but simple shapes.
Comet Trail Tail (Mutation)
This tail type forms in a long ribbon of goo that is held aloft and moves in fluid waves like a ribbon in the wind. Despite its fluid-like appearance, this tail type when handled would feel solid to the touch.
Blooming Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this tail type have a tail that splits into multiple sections, resembling various types of flowers. Any type of flower can be mimicked by this tail, though often simplified compared to the actual flowers.
Fan Tail (Mutation)
This long slender tail forms a wide fan of shaped extensions at the tip that often resemble a fan and can be spread or narrowed down which the mhoat can control.
Dragon Vine Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait form a long slender tail with little leaf-like spikes that mimic a vine.
Knotted Tail (Mutation)
This long, prehensile tail type can be controlled by the mhoat that has it, those with skill being able to form them into little knots and intricate woven designs when not kept loose.
Skeletal Tail (Mutation)
Mhoats with this trait form a tail that has a skeletal appearance.
