Traits

Summoner

Summoner (Timeless Class)

Category: Mhoat Body
Species: Mhoats

This trait allows for trailing pets, although these pets tend to be the common version. This trait can be a pair of pets (2) or it can be many types of pets, or even it can be many of a single type of pet following them.

Alongside this, the mhoat gains a 'soul-bound' pet. This is a free pet MYO. They do need to resemble the mhoat in question and therefore does allow quite a bit of alteration to the said pet. Although they'll always have similar goo patching to their mhoat.

When acquiring this trait, please link in the comments, your 'soul-bound' pet's image.

For minor notes:

  • Both pets are apart of the trait and therefore for cap counts, both are needed for fullbody rewards.
  • Both pets do in fact count as a pet bonus for cap counts.
  • The trailing pets are not true pets; pets that cannot or do not usually walk will simply fly along with the characters. This does include swimming pets.
  • The soul-bound pet is stuck to the character and cannot be moved to another character, even if the trait is removed. They must be traded alongside the mhoat they are 'soul-bound' to.
  • The soul-bound pet can be voided, but voiding it automatically voids the trait as well, leaving the ML entry outdated until an update is done.

Regarding Redesigns:

  • You cannot redesign the soul-bound pet with a Groomer's Kit, even if the trait is removed from the character.
  • The soul-bound pet will need a redesign if the character with the trait gets a major update. (This redesign will not need a Groomer's Kit.)
  • The soul-bound pet does not need a redesign if the character no longer has the trait or it's a minor update.
  • You may update the pet as long as it resembles their mhoat.

With that, if this trait is removed, the 'soul-bound' pet will however stay, and does not count as needed for the fullbody cap count. They do however still count towards the pet bonus.
